Asian Rice: Prepare Soy-Rice adding soy sauce and frozen or fresh vegetables mix. For crisp vegetables add after 5-7 minutes of cooking time.

2 tablespoons soy sauce

One package frozen Asian vegetable mix

OR

1 small head broccoli, chopped

3 carrots, finely chopped

3 stalks celery, chopped

 

 

 

Jambalaya

1 tbs Olive Oil

8 oz. Andouille sausage, cut into pieces

1 onion, chopped

1 green pepper, chopped

1 stalk celery, chopped

2 tablespoons chopped garlic

1/2 cup chopped tomatoes

2 tbsp. hot sauce

One pack soy/rice mix

6 cups chicken broth

In a large saucepan heat oil over high heat with onion, pepper and celery, cook 3 minutes. Add garlic, tomatoes, hot sauce. Stir in rice and slowly add broth. Reduce heat to medium and cook until rice absorbs liquid and becomes tender, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes. When rice is just tender add sausage. Cook until meat is done, about 10 minutes more.
